Straumann Holding AG generated a revenue of CHF 667.1 million in the third quarter, representing an organic growth rate of 9.2% and a 10.8% increase in Swiss francs compared with the corresponding period of the previous year. For the first nine months of the year, total revenue reached CHF 2.0 billion, translating to an organic growth of 8.3%. Following a strong second quarter, organic growth accelerated further, with contributions coming from all operating regions. The Europe, Middle East, and Africa region as well as the Asia-Pacific region both delivered double-digit growth rates, while North America expanded solidly despite a subdued market environment. In Latin America, expansion was driven primarily by Spanish-speaking markets outside of Brazil.
Premium implants, the group's challenger implantology brands, and digital offerings supported operational performance. In orthodontics, transformation efforts proceeded according to plan, with new ClearCorrect solutions and digital product launches increasing treatment efficiency. Chief Executive Officer Guillaume Daniellot highlighted market share gains by iEXCEL in premium implantology, strong global sales of intraoral scanners, and the introduction of SIRIOS APS technology for full-arch scans alongside the Straumann F.A.S.T. workflow to enhance clinical efficiency and practice profitability.
In the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region, revenue reached CHF 256.0 million with organic growth of 10.5%. Premium implantology gained momentum as iEXCEL attracted new clients, while Neodent and Anthogyr supported the challenger implant segment. Key contributions came from the DACH region comprising Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, alongside strong market dynamics in Poland, Romania, and Hungary. Customer engagement was supported by educational events such as the International Esthetic Days and the European Association for Osseointegration congress, while ClearCorrect expanded across selected European markets.
North America recorded revenue of CHF 174.9 million and organic growth of 7.5%. Despite cautious consumer sentiment and stable patient volumes, the region advanced due to gains in premium implantology and Neodent, alongside sustained demand for intraoral scanners. ClearCorrect expanded within the competitive transparent aligner market through digital evaluation tools and remote treatment monitoring.
Asia-Pacific achieved revenue of CHF 165.6 million, with organic growth accelerating to 10.3%. Performance outside of China remained robust, led by strong growth in Japan and India, while iEXCEL and challenger brand distribution supported Southeast Asia. China returned to growth following several challenging quarters impacted by volume-based procurement uncertainty, contributing positively to the regional performance ahead of the next procurement round expected in the first quarter of 2027.
Latin America posted revenue of CHF 70.5 million, marking an organic growth rate of 6.5% and a slowdown compared to the first half of the year. In Brazil, patient volumes among large dental chains softened, and intraoral scanner sales normalized following rapid adoption in the prior year. Conversely, Neodent expanded further across Spanish-speaking markets, notably in Mexico and Colombia, where implant penetration is lower. The group also expanded private dental practice support in Brazil and opened its third Neodent plant in Curitiba in September to secure additional manufacturing capacity.
For the full year 2026, the company reaffirmed its outlook, projecting organic revenue growth in the high single-digit percentage range and an improvement in the core EBIT margin of approximately 140 to 170 basis points based on constant 2025 exchange rates.
