Independent asset manager J. Stern & Co. has completed the acquisition of Geneva-based asset manager bvo capital. Following approval by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA, the group is expanding its presence in Switzerland. The transaction between the Swiss subsidiary J. Stern & Co. "Following the approval by FINMA, the merger with bvo is an exciting moment for our clients and for our two firms," said Jérôme Stern, Managing Partner and CEO of J. Stern & Co. "We invest our own wealth side by side with that of our clients."

With the merger, Geneva is added as another Swiss location.
